Partus Gyno Bitch Tits elaborates on queer nursing practices to outline non-binary imaginaries that exceed gendered categories. The installation opens up notions of Queer Nursing, addressing gendered disparities of reproductive labor. The work displays the synthesis of a since 2017 ongoing artistic research on breast-feeding, biologism, biohacking, reproductive fantasies, identity politics, molecular feminism, induced lactation and male lactation. Through looking at various culture historical refercences and practices like induced lactation, milk-sharing networks, parenting of same-sex couples, adoptive parenting or cross-species nursing, an array of multifacetted nursing practices emerge. Partus Gyno Bitch Tits focuses on collective, multigenerational, multi-gendered nursing practices and demands infrastructures of care, aiming towards supporting collective care structures.
